rock-pool-project-public-events
A public Rock Pool Project event at Polurrian Bay, Cornwall

When you come to our events you will be taught about our local coastal habitats and all the wildlife that goes with them. You will conduct fun surveys that contribute to our marine wildlife research, helping to build a detailed picture of how our coastal wildlife changes from place to place and from time to time.

Please ensure that all children and adults bring suitable footwear: Wellies are best, walking boots are ok too. Flip flops are a definite no go!

Staff leading our children’s events are outdoor first aid trained and have DBS clearance.

Please see below for our upcoming events.

All of the species you spot will be photographed using one of our waterproof cameras, and these images will provide a record that will be checked by our experts and submitted to the National Biodiversity Network.

We are also available for private bookings
