DATES AND TIMES:

Fortnightly sessions are on Tuesday evenings and last for an hour, starting 7pm on the 9th of February. Dates for rock pooling ‘homework’ are completely flexible – any day in between the online sessions. The full course structure can be found below.

This beginners course is a mixture of online group learning and ‘homework’ exploring your local rock pool site – a great chance to learn about Cornish rock pools! During six fortnightly online sessions, led by marine biologist Dr Ben Holt, you will learn about our incredible rock pool wildlife, how to find it and how to contribute to our research. To register, please click the button above.

'Intrigued to know about all the life that lurks within rock pools, and learn to identify species and help with surveys? Look no further Ben's knowledge and 'enthusiasm is infectious.'
