For our Seashore Safaris, tide times and heights are a vital consideration, where as we can be much more flexible with our Mobile Rock Pool. Please fill in the enquiry form at the bottom of this page to find out which dates are available for your school.
Thanks to our team of marine biologists, naturalists and experienced school teachers – they will learn a great deal! We are much more than simply people who ‘show the children some animals’. Our carefully tailored, educational days will be to your topics and age groups, as well as covering National Curriculum objectives. Expanding further – we also discuss tides, beach safety and conservation aspects, such as the dangers of plastic pollution. Furthermore, after our event(s) together, we provide you with a range of exciting, follow-up activities, linked to what you found and learned on the day, for back in class.
Our events are led by staff who undergo enhanced DBS checks and we ask that at least one member of school staff must accompany the children during our workshops.

We understand how busy everyone is at a school, weaving magic day in day out! We provide detailed risk assessments (please see downloadable examples below), along with kit lists and succinct booking forms – ensuring booking a Rock Pool Project event is quick, smooth and simple.
We ensure your personal data is protected and follow the General Data Protection Regulations. We never use or publish any images of students or staff without written consent.
We will need reasonable vehicle access for our mobile rock pool – please let us know if access is likely to be poor (e.g. many steps or long distances) as this will affect the schedule and the preparations we need to make for the day.
