Further details

WEATHER: We will run sessions in all conditions. Typically, sessions will be partly outdor and partly indoor in the Falmouth Pavillion. If weather conditions are predicted to be dangerous then sessions may be cancelled with 24 hours notice.
On the day:
  • Parent/guardians are welcome to join – FREE OF CHARGE
  • Arrive at the Falmouth Pavillion (TR11 4AR) at the time stipulated by the event.
  • Please dress appropriately for the weather. Waterproofs and wellies are a must!
  • You are welcome to bring a camera and notebook but please bear in mind that rockpools can be slippy and the water can be unforgiving to any non-waterproof electricals! These items are not required – we will provide everything necessary.
  • Any keen, young scientists are welcome to bring along species ID books and guides, magnifying glasses and species trays if you have them, but we encourage you to leave nets at home.
  • The only other thing to bring is your enthusiasm and the funniest marine biology jokes you can think of!

COVID safety: All events will be fully compliant with government guidelines. We will continue to practise social distancing and handwashing during our events.

We’re looking forward to SEA-ing you soon!
