Welcome to the Kilve Beach, Somerset Hub

Kilve Beach, on the North Somerset coast, is a rocky shoreline recognised for its rockpools and fossils. At low tide, limestone ledges reveal pools supporting crabs, snails, anemones, and small fish. The beach is a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest, valued for both its rich geology and biodiversity.

Event meeting point

The meeting point will be the grass area at the top of the hill before you reach the beach (51.1922, -3.2273 or w3w: highlighted.quit.polka). There is a path up to the beach from the car park with grass on the left of it and woodland on the right (the beach is sign posted) and the gazebo will be located at the top of this path just before the beach.

Notes on accessibility

There is a slope down onto the shore from the site meeting point which is quite steep.
